How to Cocktail: Negroni Sbagliato

The name means “wrong Negroni,” but everything about this bubbly refresher is right. Learn how to make this delicious punch before your next party.


  • 1 (750-mL) bottle Sweet vermouth
  • 1 (750-mL) bottle Campari
  • About 1 cup Assorted seasonal fruit, sliced
  • 1 (750-mL) bottle Prosecco
  • Garnish: Cinnamon
  • Glass: Punch

Add the sweet vermouth and Campari to a punch bowl and add large ice cubes or a large ice block. Add the fruit and top with the prosecco. Stir gently and garnish with freshly grated cinnamon.

    @vanrow this is definitely not a "classic" sbagliato, it's a twist. nevertheless, you definitely have no idea of how to pronounce italian. "g" isn't silent but isn§t pronounced like the guy in the video did either.

    A "traditional" sbagliato definitely does not have fruit or cinnamon. It's a variation of a Negroni where the gin is swapped out for prosecco.
    Also - sbagliato is pronounced - sb-ahl-yAHto - the "g" is silent in the -GL- diphthong. It's kind of like the sound of the double L in million. :)
