Get transported by this bourbon cocktail by Daniel Estevan, the lead bartender at Rio De Janeiro’s Garoa Bar Lounge, made waterside at famed Ipanema Beach.

Papa Julls

(at Garoa Bar Lounge)

  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz vanilla syrup
  • 3/4  oz passion fruit juice
  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 3 dashes Tabasco pepper sauce
  • Strawberry and hibiscus foam*
  • 2 sprays vanilla essence

Garnish: Strawberry, pink peppercorns

Glass: Moscow Mule mug

*Strawberry and hibiscus foam: Infuse simple syrup with hibiscus. Add strawberries and cream. Mix in a blender, and transfer to a whipping siphon.
