Drink Here Now 2018:
The Old Miami, 49 of 228

The Old Miami

49 of 228:
The Old Miami

WHY HERE: The Old Miami has served downtown Detroit since 1980. As a rock venue, it gained a reputation as the CBGBs of the Midwest, booking national acts like the Allman Brothers and Booker T along with local big names including Iggy Pop, Jack White and Eminem.

WHY NOW: Sure, you can hang out here all year, but go in the warmer months when the grassy backyard is where you want to be with a beer and hot dog (from a vendor setup) in your hand and your butt in a lawn chair while you look at fish in the koi pond.
