Wainwright (formerly of The Tasting Kitchen) claims to make the best version of any cocktail you’ve ever had, and he actually delivers. Just give his Long Island Iced Tea a shot.
The Drink to Drink: The Lucano Correcto—made with Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva rum, coffee-infused Amaro Lucano, Varnelli Caffè Moka liqueur, coffee and cream and garnished with chocolate shavings—takes the best flavor notes of coffee and prolongs them.
Know Before You Go: For those who want to splurge, peruse the premium cocktail menu, only available at the bar, featuring high-priced cocktails made using rare spirits. When the bar possessed a bottle of George T. Stagg bourbon, it served the whiskey in $60 Old Fashioneds.
