It’s not enough to claim the title of being the largest and one of the longest-running bars on Chicago’s Boystown strip, Sidetrack also allegedly ranks as one of the highest-grossing vodka-focused bars in the country. That means it sells more vodka than nearly any other bar in America. The bar has a revolving and evolving list that usually features about 30 different types of vodka, including American Harvest organic vodka and Tito’s Handmade as well as pretty much every flavored vodka you can think of, including Stoli, Absolut, Effen, Ketel One, Grey Goose and Three Olives. Add to that about 10 specialty vodka cocktails and an array of frozen slushies so potent that you should, but know you won’t, stop at two. The bar also features a number of brands that support the LGBT community, including local Halsted Vodka, which donates 15 percent of its proceeds to LGBT organizations.

The queen of the aforementioned slushies, the Sidetrack Krush featuring Absolut, may be sweet and cool going down, but she’s got a wicked sense of humor the next day.

Sidetrack, a video bar with a number of distinct rooms and a roof deck, features themes on different nights, like comedy on Thursdays and show tunes on Sundays.
