A rarity for an elegant hotel anywhere and certainly for San Francisco’s classically old-school Nob Hill, the Stanford Court hotel partnered with San Francisco-based Seven Stills Brewery & Distillery for one unusual restaurant and bar. Seven Stills is already a locals’ favorite for beer and its whiskies distilled from beers, all produced in its Bayview–Hunters Point brewery and distillery. On Nob Hill, you can also purchase beers and spirits to go.
THE DRINK TO DRINK: Most cocktails are also on draft, like a Whiskey Sour variation featuring its Whipnose whiskey.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: The food menu is whiskey-friendly and shareable, sectioned into Heads, Hearts and Tails to call on distilling terms. Splurge on the Wagyu + Whiskey flight or fill up on Italian subs, dry fried pork ribs, an Impossible burger or Oaxacan pizza.
