Lonesome Rose

Lonesome Rose

Forever in the making, Lonesome Rose is the latest from Land and Sea Dept. (Lost Lake, Parson’s Chicken & Fish) and is at its core an airy all-day café with very good Margaritas. Come nightfall, the diners give way to drinkers, piling up at the bar for straightforward cocktails and beers. Downstairs, Golden Teardrops is a pretense-free party bar that’s as sparse as it is sexy. A simple letter board spells out a half-dozen cocktails, and there’s Miller Lite for those who can’t be bothered to wait.

THE DRINK TO DRINK: At Lonesome Rose, have the Margarita. (At Golden Teardrops, get anything you want, with the caveat that there isn’t a weak drink on the menu.)

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: While located in the basement of Lonesome Rose, Golden Teardrops is accessible via an exterior door around the corner on Henry Court.
