Petworth has received another gem with the addition of Himitsu. Food comes from executive chef Kevin Tien, offering a diverse range of Asian-inspired fare from nigiri and sashimi to addictive specialties such as karaage fried chicken. Carlie Steiner heads up the drinks program, with an equally addictive lineup of craft cocktails, wines and specialty spirits, with an emphasis on local producers. All of the libations can be carefully tailored to the food if desired but don’t need to be. It’s equally as satisfying to just sidle up to the bar for a few rounds.
