Colada Shop opened its second outpost, and first in the city, this February. The all-day spot will jump-start your morning with an array of Cuban baked treats and coffees and then keep your stomach full later on with a lineup of bites including croquetas and empanadas. But the cocktails, from Juan Coronado, are not to be missed. The drinks list is dubbed Calle Ocho, in honor of the main street in Little Havana. The lineup boasts eight signature cocktails priced at just $8 a pop, making these libations a true bargain in this town.
THE DRINK TO DRINK: It’s hard to pass up a perfectly crisp and expertly made Daiquiri like the one served here, especially at that price tag.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: Just opened and already looking for more, there’s a backroom lounge along with a rooftop space both on the way soon.
