Boundary Stone

Boundary Stone

Named for the boundary stones that were originally used to demarcate the borders of the city, this popular neighborhood pub completed its expansion this year. It bought the adjoining space and knocked down the wall, adding room for live entertainment and doubling the bar’s capacity, and has quietly built one of the best whiskey lists in the city, focused on bourbon and rye, along with unique craft American whiskeys, while also offering a global selection. Come hungry too, with ramped-up pub fare that goes perfectly well with a rotating lineup of more than a dozen draft beers.

THE DRINK TO DRINK: Keep a lookout for its private barrels of whiskey. The bar has done at least two with Woodford Reserve, including one dubbed The G.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: Tough Monday? Get your week started right with open-mic nights starting at 10 p.m., with half-price draft beers until closing.
