Smoke is the name of the game at Bonfire, with an all-things-campfire-and-woodsy theme. It’s the latest venture from the Social Restaurant Group, including Mike Bramson, Glen Hartley and Chad Spangler; SRG also operates another entrant on this list, Provision No. 14. The cocktails run the gamut from spirit-heavy to seasonal, often incorporating house-made ingredients and unique bar finds. The fiery theme extends to the food as well, including campfire skillets along with a selection of half a dozen s’mores.
THE DRINK TO DRINK: The signature You’re Killin’ Me Smalls sums up this bar pretty well, made from chocolate-infused mezcal, tequila, sugar cane, bitters, maple wood smoke and a marshmallow roasted to order.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: Bonfire takes up two floors, with two bars as well as a rooftop patio, so don’t turn away if the ground floor’s bar is out of seats.
