St. John Frizell is a writer and bartender based in New York City and the owner of Fort Defiance in Brooklyn.
Frizell's writing has appeared in Bon Appétit, Fine Cooking, Saveur, and Men's Journal, where he is the drinks correspondent. He is the owner of the lauded Brooklyn bar Fort Defiance and also works as an industry consultant and educator.
