Simon Ford is the cofounder of The 86 Co. and Ford’s Gin, one of the best-selling craft gins on the market. He is a leading voice in the spirits and cocktails industry and conducts educational sessions, judges bartending competitions and speaks on panels at conferences around the world.
Ford has been working in the drinks industry for more than two decades. Before launching The 86 Co., he was an award-winning brand ambassador for Plymouth Gin and served as director of trade marketing and brand education for Pernod Ricard, and also has experience as a bartender, brand educator and writer. In addition to writing for Liquor.com, Ford has written articles for Food Republic and has been featured in publications including Forbes, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.
