Named for one of the three biblical magi along with Caspar and Melchior who was said to have visited the infant Jesus in the manger, this Pisco Sour-ish drink by Danny Kuehner, the bar manager at Madison in San Diego, contains a drop or two of fragrant frankincense, often used in aromatherapy. “Frankincense is believed to strengthen and invigorate the respiratory system, containing properties that reduce feelings of anxiety, stimulate the immune system and diminish signs of aging,” says Kuehner.
