Rich Manning

Rich Manning is a writer and spirits and food competition judge based in Los Angeles. He has been writing about spirits, wine, beer, food and travel since 2004.

Experience

Manning's work has appeared in publications including Gayot, Somm Journal and Tasting Panel. In addition, he's a cohost of The Lazy Hunter Podcast.

Manning's writing credits include Artisan Spirit Magazine, Distiller, Gayot, SOMM Journal, Tasting Panel and VinePair. He’s a judge for the San Diego Spirits Festival International Bottle Competition, as well as several food competitions in and around Orange County, California.

Education

Manning graduated from Concordia University, Irvine, with a bachelor of arts degree in humanities with a writing emphasis.
