So many Halloween cocktails sacrifice balance for boo! Not the case with the Witches’ Brew, a smoky scotch sour doused with fino sherry and beet juice.
- 2 ounces Islay scotch
- 1/2 ounce fino sherry
- 1 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- 1/2 ounce beet juice
Add all ingredients except the beet juice into a shaker with ice and shake until chilled.
Strain into a glass pipe or a rocks glass over fresh ice.
Top with the beet juice.
Note: While we used dry ice in the photo, we do not recommend using it in cocktails, since it's extremely dangerous to ingest. This Halloween cocktail is just as much of a treat without the tricks.
