Barcelona’s Painkiller

The Painkiller is already a twist on the Piña Colada, but you can mix it up even further by swapping high-quality spanish brandy for rum. That’s precisely what Johnny Livanos has done with this innovative and mouthwatering cocktail.


  • 1 1/2 oz Torres 15 brandy
  • 1 oz Pineapple juice
  • 3/4 oz Cream of coconut
  • 1/2 oz Orange juice
  • Garnish: 1 dash Grated nutmeg
  • Garnish: 1 dash Mint sprig


  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.

  2. Strain into a tiki mug filled with crushed ice and top with more crushed ice.

  3. Garnish with grated nutmeg and mint sprig.
