Named for Jimmy Russell's 56 years distilling Wild Turkey.
- 2 sprigs Mint
- 1 1/2 tsp Brown sugar
- 2 1/2 oz Wild Turkey 101 Bourbon
- 1/2 cup crushed ice
- Garnish: mint spring
In a traditional silver julep cup or double Old Fashioned glass, muddle the mint, brown sugar and 1 ounce of the bourbon.
Add the ice and remaining bourbon, and garnish with a sprig of mint.
