This two-ingredient autumnal classic is traditionally made using two ounces of rye, bourbon, rum or brandy and topped with apple cider.
- 2 oz Rye, bourbon, rum or brandy
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- Apple cider
- Garnish: Mint sprig
Add the spirit and bitters to a Collins glass over ice.
Fill the glass to the brim with the cider and stir.
Garnish with a mint sprig.
