This complex and boozy cocktail from the mind of San Francisco bartender Michael Hart is the perfect vehicle for triple-casked Irish whiskey. Notes of banana pair exceptionally well with the oak and spice from the whiskey.
- 1 1/2 oz Slane Irish whiskey
- 3/4 oz Fino sherry
- 1/4 oz Banana liqueur
- 1/4 oz Amaro CioCiaro
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Garnish: Dehydrated banana chip
- Garnish: Lemon oil
Add all the ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir.
Strain into chilled coupe glass.
Express the oil from a lemon peel, and discard the peel.
Float a dehydrated banana chip on top.
