This cocktail by Jim Meehan of New York City's PDT is a tasty mix of rum, cider, sherry, pear brandy and allspice liqueur.
- 1 1/2 oz Banks 5-Island rum
- 1 oz Apple cider
- 1/2 oz Gonzalez Byass Solera 1847 Oloroso Dulce Sherry
- 1/4 oz Clear Creek Pear Brandy
- 1 tsp St. Elizabeth allspice dram
- Garnish: 1 Apple fan
Add all the ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice.
Shake, and fine strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Garnish with an apple fan.
