Sea Breeze Cooler

This gin-based cocktail can be found in Harry Craddock’s 1930 “The Savoy Cocktail Book.”

This recipe originally appeared as part of “The Inside Story of the Sea Breeze Cocktail.”


  • 1 oz Dry gin
  • 1 oz Apricot brandy
  • 2 dashes Grenadine*
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • Soda water, to top
  • Garnish: Mint sprig


  1. Add all ingredients except soda water into a highball glass over ice.

  2. Top with soda water.

  3. Garnish with a mint sprig.
