Spicy ginger syrup takes center stage in the delicious Rye Swizzle.
Add all the ingredients except the Angostura and Peychaud's bitters to a shaker.
Shake (without ice) and pour into a highball glass.
Fill with crushed ice and swizzle, keeping the mint on the bottom of the glass.
Fill with more crushed ice and top with the bitters.
Garnish with a mint sprig and a piece of candied ginger.
