It’s the guiding principle for all members of Star Trek’s Starfleet: Don’t mess with other civilizations and sully up their worlds. Which is a pretty good rule to follow for drinks, too. Keep things light and herby with this gin cocktail from bartender Andrew Volk.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Plymouth gin
  • 1 oz Bianco vermouth
  • 1/2 oz Bénédictine liqueur
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • Garnish: Lemon twist

Steps

  1. Stir all of the ingredients, and strain into a chilled coupe.

  2. Garnish with a lemon twist.
