For super intense flavor, poach your pears in a simple syrup flavored with warming winter spices like clove, cinnamon and star anise.
- 2 ounces white rum
- 1 ounce lime juice, freshly squeezed
- 3 Tbsp spiced poached pear
- 1 tsp fresh grated ginger root
- 1/2 ounce syrup from poached pears
Add all ingredients to a blender with a scoop of crushed ice.
Blend until smooth.
Pour into a footed or rocks glass.
