This spirit-forward cocktail from San Francisco’s Dirty Habit combines Fernet-Branca and Madeira with Japanese whisky and a Spanish liqueur.
- 1 1/2 ounces Yamazaki 12-year-old whisky
- 3/4 ounce dry Madeira wine
- 1/2 ounce Licor 43
- 1/4 ounce Fernet-Branca
- Garnish: shaved black cardamom
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice and stir.
Strain into a Nick & Nora or coupe glass, and garnish with freshly shaved black cardamom.
