Mix tea with more than just hot water. Try this chamomile-infused whiskey cocktail from bar pro Alex Day.
Ingredients
- 1 ounce chamomile-Infused rye whiskey*
- 1 1/2 ounces La Gitana manzanilla sherry
- 1/2 ounce yellow Chartreuse
- 3/4 ounce lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- 1 dash Angostura bitters

Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.

Strain into a coupe.
*Chamomile-infused rye whiskey: Add one heaping tablespoon of chamomile tea to 6 ounces of Old Overholt rye whiskey. Let stand for 1 hour and 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Strain through cheesecloth into a clean bottle and discard solids. Store in the refrigerator.
