The Brooklyn cocktail adds maraschino liqueur to the Manhattan, giving the classic drink a little more complexity and sweetness. This recipe includes another upgrade: Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Rye whiskey. It brings the smoothness you expect from Jack and rye’s uniquely bold and spicy flavor to the Brooklyn cocktail.
- 1 1/2 oz Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Rye whiskey
- 1 1/2 oz Dry vermouth
- 33/100 oz Amer Picon
- 33/100 oz Maraschino liqueur
- Garnish: Maraschino cherry
Add all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe.
Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
