This drink by Casey Elsass, a bartender and founder of Bushwick Kitchen—a company that makes hot sauces, maple syrup and honey—is a tart and boozy riff on a Whiskey Sour. The sweet-sourness of Mike’s Hard Lemonade plus the alcoholic bite of Jim Beam bourbon is heaven in a cup.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Jim Beam bourbon
- 1 oz Mike’s Hard Lemonade
Steps
-
Fill a Julep cup with crushed ice, add the bourbon, and stir for 30 seconds.
-
Add the Mike’s Hard Lemonade, and top off with more crushed ice.
