When it’s blood orange season, do yourself a favor and add it to this take on a classic French 75.
- 1 1/2 oz Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège cognac
- 3/4 oz Simple syrup
- 1/2 oz Blood orange juice
- 1/2 oz Fresh lemon juice
- Sparkling wine, to top
- Garnish: Lemon peel
Add the ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake.
Strain into a Champagne flute.
Top with sparkling wine, and garnish with a lemon peel.
