Try a refreshing cognac cocktail with lime juice and Thai basil leaves.


  • 1 1/2 oz Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège cognac
  • 3/4 oz Honey syrup*
  • 1/2 oz Fresh lime juice
  • 5 Thai basil leaves, torn
  • Garnish: Thai basil crown


  1. Add all the ingredients to a shaker filled with ice and shake.

  2. Double-strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice.

  3. Garnish with a crown of Thai basil.

  4. *Honey syrup: Combine 1 1/2 parts honey to 1 part water. Bring to a simmer until the honey dissolves, then let cool before using.
