Capture the bright flavors of blackberries in this simple cognac and cherry cocktail.
- 1 1/2 oz Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège cognac
- 1/4 oz Combier Rouge Cherry liqueur
- 3/4 oz Fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 oz Blackberry syrup*
- Garnish: Frosted blueberries, Edible flower
Add all the ingredients to a shaker filled with ice and shake.
Fine-strain into a chilled coupe.
Garnish with frosted blueberries and an edible flower.
*Blackberry syrup: Take 6 oz sugar, 6 oz water and 6 oz blackberries and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes. Remove from heat, strain, and add salt to taste.
