This cocktail was created by Nazarene Garcia at Hudson Bar & Books for Cognac Classics Week, presented by Liquor.com and Hennessy VSOP Privilège.
- Bowmore 12 single-malt whisky
- 2 oz Hennessy VSOP cognac
- 3/4 oz Bénédictine
- 3/4 oz Lime juice
- 1/2 oz Simple syrup
- 2 dashes Regan’s Orange bitters
- Garnish: Orange peel
Rinse a chilled snifter glass with the whisky, discarding any excess, and set aside.
Add the remaining ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice.
Shake and strain into the prepared glass over fresh cracked ice.
Garnish with an orange peel.
