  • 2 oz Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège cognac
  • 3/4 oz Banana liqueur
  • 1 oz Fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 oz Demerara syrup*
  • 6 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 10 Fresh mint leaves
  • Garnish: Mint sprig, Lemon wheel, Sliced bananas


  1. Add the mint leaves to a Collins glass and lightly muddle.

  2. Add the cognac, liqueur, syrup, lemon juice and 3 dashes of the bitters, and swizzle until diluted.

  3. Fill the rest of the glass with crushed ice.

  4. Add the 3 remaining dashes of bitters, then garnish with a mint sprig, lemon wheel and sliced bananas.

  5. *Demerara syrup: Combine 2 parts demerara sugar to 1 part water in a saucepan over low heat. Heat until the sugar dissolves. Cool before using.
