One of the earliest vodka cocktail recipes created in the U.S., this simple tipple dates back to 1938.
- 2 ounces Russian Standard vodka
- 1 ounce Benedictine
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- Garnish: 1 lemon twist, thinly cut
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with cracked ice and stir until well-chilled.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Twist a swath of thin-cut lemon peel over the top to express the oils and discard.
