This easy-to-make simple syrup is infused with cinnamon sticks. It can be used to add sweetness and a touch of cinnamon spice to a variety of cocktails.
- 2 cinnamon sticks, broken into pieces
- 5 ounces sugar
- 5 ounces water
Add all the ingredients to a small saucepan.
Bring to a boil over high heat, reduce heat to low and simmer for a few minutes.
Remove from heat, cover, and let stand for at least 6 hours.
Strain, and store in the refrigerator.
