    I am a Canadian who's been drinking these since I was a teen - while this recipe sounds interesting, I don't know of anyone who's ever made it with clam juice OR tomato juice. It's always made with vodka and Mott's Clamato, and spiced to taste.

    Something that is generally NOT known is that there is a HUGE difference between Mott's Clamato in the USA and Mott's Clamato in Canada. Over the years the Canadian version has had its recipe changed, they have made it spicier and to me, less flavorful. The US Clamato tastes like the Canadian stuff USED to. When I travel to the US, I always bring back US Clamato with me.
