- 2 oz Bottled-in-Bond bourbon
- 1 1/2 oz Honey-sage syrup*
- Garnish: Orange peel, Sage leaf
Pour bourbon and honey-sage syrup over ice.
Twist orange peel over glass to release its oils.
Garnish with the peel and a fresh sage leaf.
*Honey-sage syrup: Add 1 cup water, 1⁄2 cup honey and 10-12 sage leaves to a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce to low and simmer for three minutes. Turn off heat and let syrup cool.
