Place one large ice cube in a wine glass and add all the ingredients.
Stir, and garnish with 3 rose petals or 6 pomegranate arils.
*Ruby Slippers LiqueurINGREDIENTS:
1 (750-mL) bottle Vodka
1 oz (about 2.5 cups) Dried hibiscus flowers
1 oz (about 2.5 cups) Dried rose petals
1 tbsp Dried tarragon
8 oz Simple syrup (one part sugar, one part water)
PREPARATION: Add the vodka, hibiscus, rose and tarragon to a large jar or other container with a lid. Stir to moisten the flowers, cover and let stand until the liquid smells and tastes strongly of flowers, 3 to 5 days. Strain (do not push on the solids to extract more liquid) into a clean 1-quart jar and stir in the simple syrup. Seal, and store in a cool, dark place like a cabinet. Use within 1 year.
