The Añejo Highball is the hip Caribbean cousin of the Moscow Mule. It was created by Dale DeGroff, one of the masters of modern mixology, as a tribute to the Cuban bartenders of the early 1900s.
- 1 1/2 parts Bacardí 8 Años rum
- 1/2 parts Orange Curaçao liqueur
- 1/2 parts Fresh lime juice
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 2 parts Ginger beer
Add the rum, liqueur, juice and bitters to a Highball glass with ice.
Add the ginger beer, and give the mixture a good stir.
Garnish with an orange wedge.
