This recipe from Martin Cate is the perfect thing to make during summer—or any time you want it to feel like summer. The sweet and bubbly flavor is anchored by the singular taste of Jamaican rum.
- 1 1/2 oz Appleton Estate Reserve Blend rum
- 1/2 oz Wray & Nephew overproof rum
- 1/2 oz Honey syrup
- 1/2 oz Fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 oz Coconut cream*
- Garnish: 1/2 oz Chilled Champagne
- Garnish: Mint leaf
Add all the ingredients except the Champagne into a shaker with ice and shake.
Double-strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Top with the Champagne.
Garnish with a mint leaf.
