“Galliano is a very unique blend of flavors conveniently contained in one bottle,” says Will Benedetto, the beverage director for IGC Hospitality Group in New York City. When using it in shaken drinks, he advises to make them “bright and dynamic with lots of acid and fresh product.” That’s certainly a good way of describing this South-of-the-Border cocktail inspired by the disco classic.
“I love Galliano with various combinations of lemon and agave spirit,” says Benedetto. “The tartness of fresh lemon juice or even just lemon zest helps unpack its rich flavors.”
