I did not receive Liquor.com emails after signing up

This is likely due to your email service’s filter. Help the filter know Liquor.com is not a spam.

Microsoft Outlook

  1. From the “Tools” menu, select “Options”
  2. On the “Preferences” tab, click the “Junk E-Mail” button
  3. Click the “Safe Senders” tab
  4. Click the “Add” button
  5. Type Liquor.com into the field in the popup window, and click the “OK” button
  6. Click “OK” on each of the previous pages to exit the Options windows

NOTE: If the images in our emails are being blocked, adding Liquor.com to your “safe senders” list will also solve this problem.

Hotmail or MSN:

  1. Login to your email account
  2. Click “Options”
  3. Click “Junk Email Protection”
  4. Click “Safe List”
  5. Add Liquor.com to the list

Yahoo:

  1. Login to your email account
  2. Click “Mail Options”
  3. Click “Filters”
  4. Click the “Add” button
  5. Name this filter, then where it says “From header contains,” type Liquor.com
  6. Where it says “Then… Move the message to,” select “Inbox”
  7. Click “Add Filter”

Gmail:

  1. Login to your email account
  2. Click the “Spam” link on the left
  3. Click on the email sent by Liquor.com
  4. Click the “Not Spam” button above the message

AOL:

  1. Login to your email account
  2. Open your Address Book
  3. Add “editor@liquor.com”

Note: Make sure you check your “bulk senders” folder for the Liquor.com confirmation email, where it says “show me mail from,” in your Mailbox.

Other Internet Service Providers:

  • Safe List: Setting up your own safe list, which some e-mail systems allow you to do. Look for the safe list in the settings section, and add Liquor.com. If you have to enter a complete address, use “editor@liquor.com”. Some e-mail systems require a sender to be in your address book to keep the e-mail from being diverted to a “junk”; or “bulk”; mail folder. If your system has this requirement, add “editor@liquor.com” to your address book.
  • Technical Support: Get in touch with technical support at your ISP or company and explain the problem. If they’re blocking e-mail from Liquor.com, let them know that they need to stop.

 

Account Settings

Changing your Liquor.com username:

  1. Login to Liquor.com. View your profile.
  2. Open the profile settings panel.
  3. Enter a new username and click update.
  4. Sign in again using the new username you have entered.

I cannot login to my account.

Please ensure that you have entered the correct username and password.
Note that you should use your username, and not the email you used to sign up.

If you still cannot login, we suggest you try changing your password. Follow the steps below.

 

Change Password

Retrieving your Liquor.com password:

  1. Find the link to the reset password feature by first opening up the login screen as shown in the picture below. Then click on the “Need help logging in?” link.
  2. Submit your email and check your inbox for a system email from Liquor.com (check your spam box).
  3. The email link will bring you back to Liquor.com to enter a new password.
  4. Use your username and new password to login.

I requested a password reset, but the Email did not arrive.

Check that the mail sent to you has not been filtered into the spam folder. If the email does not arrive after a long time, please contact our administrator for help.

 

The link provided in the Email  does not work.

When clicking on the link in the email, if instead of being directed to the page on the left shown below, you are brought to the page on the right:
 
then the link in the email has expired.

The error likely happens because you requested for the password reset multiple times. Therefore you will receive more than one password reset email. Please use only the latest reset email sent to you. It takes some time for the latest email to arrive at your inbox. Do check your Spam folder in case it got filtered there.

Collections

What is a collection?

A collection is where you can save and organize recipes. Think of it as your personal online cocktail recipe box. Not only can you save recipes that exist on Liquor.com, you can also create / upload your own recipes and add them to your collection too.

How many collections can I make?

You can make as many collections as you would like.

How do I access a collection?

  1. Login to Liquor.com.
  2. Click on My Profile

How do I create an account?

  1. Click Join
  2. Enter your information
  3. Click Signup
  4. OR click Login With Facebook
  5. Enter your email and password associated with your Facebook account
  6. Click Log In

How do I log in?

  1. Click Log In
  2. Enter your information
  3. Click Continue
  4. OR click Login With Facebook
  5. Enter your email and password associated with your Facebook account
  6. Click Log In

How do I get my username?

  1. Login to Liquor.com
  2. Click My Profile
  3. Click Account Settings
  4. Scroll down to Username

I forgot my username. What do I do?

You can login with the email address you signed up with if you forgot your username.

How do I update my Display Name?

  1. Login to Liquor.com
  2. Click My Profile
  3. Click Account Settings
  4. Scroll down to Display Name
  5. Highlight the current display name
  6. Type in the desired display name
  7. Click Update Display Name

How do I add an item to a collection / save a recipe?

      1. Login to Liquor.com
      2. Find the recipe you want to save
      3. Click on the heart icon on the image or the Save To Collection button below the image
      4. Pick the existing collection you want to add the recipe to or create a new collection
      5. Click Save

    How do I add an item to multiple collections?

    1. Login to Liquor.com
    2. Find the recipe you want to save
    3. Click on the heart icon on the image or the Save To Collection button below the image
    4. Pick all the collections you want to add the recipe to
    5. Click save

    How do I rename a collection?

    1. Login to Liquor.com.
    2. Click on My Profile
    3. Click on the collection name you want to change
    4. Click Edit
    5. Highlight the current collection name
    6. Type in the replacement collection name
    7. Hit Rename

    How do I create a collection?

    1. Login to Liquor.com.
    2. Click on My Profile
    3. Click on the + icon on the Add New Collection box
    4. Type in the collection name you would like
    5. Click Add

    How do I add my own recipe?

    1. Login to Liquor.com.
    2. Click on My Profile
    3. Click on Add Recipe button
    4. Add Required fields
    5. Click Add Recipe button once finished

    How do I change the collection cover image?

    1. Login to Liquor.com.
    2. Click on My Profile
    3. Click on the collection you want to edit
    4. Click on the pencil icon
    5. Click Set As Collection Cover

    How do I remove an item from a collection?

    1. Login to Liquor.com.
    2. Click on My Profile
    3. Click on the collection you want to edit
    4. Click on the + icon on the item you want to remove
    5. Unhighlight the collection you want to remove the item from
    6. Click Save
    7. Refresh the page and item will be removed

    How do I delete a collection?

    1. Login to Liquor.com.
    2. Click on My Profile
    3. Click on the collection name you want to change
    4. Click Edit
    5. Hit Delete
    6. Hit Delete on the warning message

    How do I update advanced Meta Data?

    1. Login to Liquor.com.
    2. Click on My Profile
    3. Click on the collection you want to update
    4. Click Edit
    5. Click Show Advanced Settings
    6. Type in desired data
    7. Click Save

    How do I find other people’s collections?

    1. Go to a recipe page
    2. Click on Appears in # Collections
    3. Find the collection you want to follow

    How do I follow another user?

    1. Go to a collection page curated by the user you want to follow
    2. Click on the user’s name next to Contributed By
    3. Click Follow User

    How do I follow a collection?

    1. Go to the collection page
    2. Click on Follow Collection

    What are the benefits of saving a recipe/creating a collection?

    Saving a recipe and creating a collection enable you to access the drinks you love or want to try faster.

    Let’s say you see a punch recipe that you think would be great for the next time you are having a party, but you don’t plan to have a party at any point in the near future. Six months later, you find yourself planning a party, and remember there was a punch recipe that you found that you thought sounded delicious, but you forgot the punch recipe name. If you saved the punch recipe to your collection, you can easily find the punch recipe you were thinking of, or another recipe that could be perfect for your party.
