For those less privy to whiskey but still wishing to dabble in the beloved beverage is Jacob's Ghost, a white whiskey brought to you by Jim Beam. Bourbon must be aged at least two years in new, charred, American oak, but this white whiskey is only aged one year in uncharred barrels. Then, Jacob's Ghost is filtered. The result is more akin to vodka than whiskey (Moscow Mule, anyone?). Light-bodied, slightly sweet, with only a hint of spiciness and oak, Jacob's Ghost was made to mix! Use it in a whiskey sour or any number of whiskey or vodka cocktails.
