This cocktail, created by bartender Nate Dumas at The Shanty at the New York Distilling Company, combines Mister Katz's Rock & Rye with scotch, Campari, lemon and grenadine to create a spicy and sweet sour.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 ounces Mister Katz’s Rock & Rye
  • 1 ounce Glenlivet 12-Year scotch
  • 1/4 ounce Campari
  • 3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 ounce grenadine
  • 1 ounce club soda
  • Garnish: lemon twist

Steps

  1. Add all ingredients except the club soda into a shaker with ice and shake well.

  2. Add the club soda.

  3. Strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice.

  4. Garnish with a lemon twist.
