White Castle is hopping on the booze train. Following recent trends of fast food chains adding alcohol to menus, the burger chain is currently in the works to start selling its own signature beer with the infamous tiny sliders.
The collaboration with Pennsylvania beer company, Weyerbacher, will be offered at 400 White Castle locations across 13 states, Brewbound reports.
The beer may also be available in a store near you. Retailers who sell frozen White Castle burgers will also be eligible to put the signature beer on its shelves.
“We did a pilot brew for [White Castle], a Kölsch that they loved, so that’s gonna be the first beer,” Weyerbacher Brewing Company chief operating officer Josh Lampe told Brewbound. “It goes well with burgers.”
Sliders and Kölsch seem like a dangerous duo.
