Christmas tree ornaments always did seem a little … useless? Sure, they’re pretty and all, glittering within the green branches during December, but at the end of the season, they’re packed up and stored for another 11 months of exile.
Luckily, a U.K. distillery just transformed the traditional pine tree adornment into a vessel of craft whiskey, vodka or gin.
The Lakes Distillery ornaments are packaged individually or sold in a gift set of six, with each decoration holding 50 milliliters of spirit. If you choose whiskey, each bauble will be filled with Lakes Distillery’s British blended whiskey. If you opt for gin or vodka, you’ll get to taste three of the company’s variations of that spirit. If you like gin, you’ll get two ornaments each of The Lakes gin, The Lakes sloe gin and The Lakes damson gin; for vodka, you get to try The Lakes vodka, The Lakes salted caramel vodka and The Lakes espresso vodka.
Sets cost $41, while individuals are sold at $24. The offering is only available for pickup at the local distillery for now, but the company hopes to ship the product soon.
Just imagine the new holiday traditions that will be born.
