The average price of rent in a city is a pretty good way to measure cost of living, but what about the price of beer?
Deutsche Bank recently released findings on how much a pint costs in a neighborhood pub in an expat area of a given city in 2017. Oslo led the list at $9.90, followed by Singapore ($9) and Hong Kong ($7.70).
The most expensive American city was New York (no surprise there), with a beer costing $7.40 on average. Boston came next at $7.20, followed by San Francisco at $6.20.
