Weed and Wine are Coming Together to Create the Best Buzz Ever

Wine is about to get a whole lot better for cannabis lovers. That’s right—the two popular substances are now being combined into one. The new product, known as Canna Vine, is the brainchild of winemakers in California, and it’s taking the world—or at least the stateby storm.

According to the “Los Angeles Times,” the wine is made by combining organic marijuana and biodynamically farmed grapes. Although it sounds groundbreaking, this creation isn’t exactly new. Some say winemakers started infusing wine with ganja all the way back in the ’70s.

But don’t get too excited yet—it’s not so easy to get your hands on a bottle. First of all, the wine is still pending TTB approval for sale, and it will only available in the state of California. (Pot may be legal in other states, but Oregon, Washington and Colorado all have laws against marijuana-infused alcohol.)

The other bummer? This stuff is pricey. Although celebrities like Melissa Etheridge and Chelsea Handler tout this stuff, they’re pretty much the only ones that can afford it. Canna Vine reportedly costs anywhere from $120 to $400 for a half-bottle.

This may not be the most accessible stuff, but its future may be pretty lit.
