Visit Wine Country—Without Going Anywhere

Ferrari-Carano Vineyards via Google Maps

Don’t have the dough for a spur-of-the-moment trip to Napa Valley? No sweat. All you’ve got to do is visit Google Maps.

The service is no longer just for planning road trips and procuring emergency directions—as of Tuesday you can take virtual 360-degree tours of more than 80 vineyards and breweries in California. The best part? It’s not just street view. Google’s tours also include interior shots, so you can feel like you’re actually there. Well, sort of.

Wineries getting in on the virtual action include Mosby Winery & Vineyard, Castello di Amorosa, Artesa, Quintessa, and Ferrari Caranollo di Amorosa, Artesa, Quintessa and Ferrari Carano. And beer lovers won’t feel left out with in-depth tours of Telegraph Brewing Co., Triple Voodoo Brewery and Taproom and the Sierra Nevada Torpedo Room.

Ready to tour some of the booziest spots on U.S. Route 101 from the comfort of your own couch? Pop open a bottle of Pinot Noir and get to clicking.
